On this tour, you'll have the chance to see some of the filming locations of the popular American musical, 'The Sound of Music'.
You'll begin with a stop at Mirabell Gardens, the place where the 'Do-Re-Mi' song was filmed. Another stop will be the Leopoldskron Palace, where the lake and terrace scenes at the von Trapp's family home were shot. You'll also visit Hellbrunn Palace, where you can see a replica of the gazebo used in the movie. Nonnberg Abbey is now a women's convent, but visitors can approach the front gate of the church to recall four famous scenes from the film.
Towards the end of the tour, you'll stop at Mondsee to visit the church used for filming the wedding scene. Afterwards, you'll have free time to stroll the charming town on your own before the return journey.
