You’ll join a guided food tour of Rio that takes you through Copacabana, Santa Teresa and Lapa, combining tastings with cultural stops. The day begins in Copacabana with açaí and soursop juice, followed by a nearby steak, cheese and pineapple sandwich. At Adega Pérola you’ll enjoy bites such as octopus, goat cheese, cod pearls and codfish cakes, paired with natural guaraná and refreshing mate. Along the route you’ll visit the Royal Portuguese Reading Cabinet, Confeitaria Colombo and Cinelândia, and explore local shops and bars.
As you move into Santa Teresa, you’ll sample cheese bread, more açaí, cheese pastries and beer, and visit the Selarón Steps.
