On this guided day tour, you will visit Chamonix, an Alpine resort town at the base of Mont Blanc.
From Geneva, you will take a bus in the morning and travel for about 90 minutes. Along with your guide, you will cross the Switzerland-France border and be driven through the Arve Valley. Upon arrival at Chamonix, you will get to explore and stroll in the cool mountain air.
Afterwards, you can catch a ride on the Montenvers train, which will take you to see Mer de Glace. A panoramic terrace will give you spectacular views of France’s largest glacier and the neighbouring peaks of the Drus, Grandes Jorasses and Grands Charmoz.
