On this half-day tour, you’ll discover Rhine Falls and the town of Stein am Rhein. You’ll depart from Zürich and head to the ancient Castle Laufen located on the top of the enormous Rhine Falls – the largest waterfalls in Europe. After an hour of walking around the scenic area to see different perspectives of the falls, you’ll continue up the Rhine River. Travelling the landscapes, you’ll reach the medieval town of Stein am Rhein. Here you’ll learn about the town and see its renowned wooden and stone buildings with renaissance frescoes. There will be some time to relax before returning to Zürich.
