This experience will take you on a walk through landscapes that look almost alien because of their unusual geological shapes. The route goes into the Cordillera de la Sal, a region carved by water and wind over millions of years, where rocky ridges and hollows form striking silhouettes against the sky.
Along the way, the excursion invites you to enter the Los Flamencos National Reserve and to visit the Moon Valley. There you will see saline sculptures rising from the ground and other dramatic formations shaped by long-term erosion. As you move through the area, you will explore terrain that emphasises different layers, textures and colours created by natural forces, giving a clear sense of the landscape’s geological history.
