You’ll be transferred from San Pedro de Atacama to the Puritama Baths, a natural oasis in the middle of the Atacama Desert at around 3,600 metres above sea level. On arrival, you’ll find a landscape shaped by the Andes: native vegetation, steep ravines and hot springs emerging from the mountains. The complex’s series of natural pools sit beside the Puritama River and offer warm, pleasant water where you can rest and unwind in a peaceful setting.
As you move through the site, you’ll use maintained paths and have access to bathrooms and changing rooms for comfort. Along the way you’ll take in views of the surrounding desert and river, and you’ll have time to relax, recover energy and connect with nature before you return to San Pedro de Atacama.
