On this tour, you’ll set out from Aix-en-Provence to explore the French countryside around the Plateau de Valensole region. The area is known for its spectacular lavender fields, and you’ll meet a local producer to learn about the distillation of lavender essential oil.
Your next stop will be the mountainside village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie where you’ll have free time to explore the earthenware workshops and grab lunch. Back on the road, you’ll head to the Gorges du Verdon – one of Europe’s most beautiful canyons, towering over a brilliant turquoise lake. Before heading home, you’ll journey down to the lake in the village of Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon and have time to swim in the inviting waters or sunbathe on the sand.
