You will journey to Saint Remy de Provence for a walk in the city centre. As you move on to Les Baux de Provence, you will see the village perched on a rock 245 metres high and explore its historical pedestrian centre. Along the narrow streets you will find the museum of santons, the Hôtel des Porcelets, a beautiful 16th‑century house, the St Vincent Church and a pretty Romanesque building, all set within the compact village core.
The visit also includes the famous Pont du Gard, dating from the first century and classified by UNESCO. There you will encounter the most well‑preserved part of the Roman aqueduct which supplied water to Nîmes. Expect to see the impressive stone arches and the aqueduct’s structure as you take in this remarkable example of Roman engineering.
