This darker 'dander' around Derry's Walled City offers a guided walk that brings out the city's spookier side. Normally starting from the Visit Derry tourist office in Waterloo Place, you will walk in and around the Walled City. Along the way you will hear darker, spooky or haunted histories of this ancient place and meet some of its darker 'Legenderry' characters.
Group numbers are restricted to keep the experience personal and enjoyable. The city currently hosts the largest Halloween Street Festival in Europe between 28–31 October each year, which provides local context for many of the tales you will hear. Private tours may be able to start from the Peace Tree on Browning Drive on request, and tours will normally finish back at Visit Derry.
