With this ticket, you’ll be welcomed into the royal residence of Windsor Castle, the oldest and biggest occupied castle in the world, established by William the Conqueror in the 11th century. You’ll explore the opulent State Apartments, furnished with extraordinary items from the Royal Collection like Rembrandt, Van Dyck and Rubens masterpieces, Henry VIII’s armour and the bullet that killed Lord Admiral Nelson in the Battle of Trafalgar. Your ticket will also include entry to St George’s Chapel, an exquisite building that’s seen many royal weddings, including the recent nuptials of both Princess Eugenie and Prince Harry. Tickets should be redeemed at the ticket desk found at the main entrance.
Windsor Castle is open Thursday to Monday, with a few exceptions when the Castle is in use for official functions. Please check the venue's hours of operation before your visit.
Important: St George’s Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays.
Please note that the last admission is 75 minutes before closing.
The Admission Centre is busiest from the opening time throughout the morning; it's recommended to arrive after midday.
