On this guided walking tour, you'll explore the historical city of York with Mad Alice as you learn about the ghosts that stalk the city and the witches, murderers, kings and queens who have left their marks here.

You'll see one of Britain's largest Gothic cathedrals, learn about the Roman origins of the city and see how the Vikings and William the Conqueror changed the city. You'll wander down a picturesque medieval street as you hear about one of York's saints who lived here.

The tour will be conducted by either Mad Alice or Lady Peckett.

Please note that service animals are allowed on the tour.

This tour is often a large group of 60 participants or above during peak seasons and Halloween. The average off-peak group size can range from 20–40.

The guide will always be positioned to be seen and heard, and with larger groups, amplification will be used.
