Archery is a sport that requires little introduction. Archery historically has been used for hunting and combat but now a days we mainly use it for competitive sport and recreation. We have various challenges set up to challenge the complete beginner to the accomplished shot alike. Our archery set up actually has a bit of a twist! We do conventional archery to start of with and then we do field archery which consists on going on small walk with the bow and arrow to find some foam animal targets within the wood!

If you can arrive 15 minutes early to allow for the short walk as it's 5-10 minutes into their private woodland. On arrival at the Wild Boar, Crook Road, Windermere, Cumbria, LA23 3NF park in the rear car park if quiet if not on the grass area just into the woods. Please do not drive up ( it’s a walk , walking boots or sturdy shoes are advised ) go to reception and they will point you in the right direction. Your instructor will meet you up at the shooting site Do not worry if the weather is not perfect we have a covered area too.
