This ticket will give you the opportunity to enter the Edinburgh Dungeon to immerse yourself in Scotland’s darkest history.
On this award-winning, 70-minute interactive experience, you’ll walk underground and encounter notorious characters such as the murderous twosome Burke and Hare, the local cannibal Sawney Bean and the legendary witch, Agnes Finnie.
You’ll also witness the shadows of the black plague and the fearsome torture chamber.

The majority of facilities are designed to be fully accessible. However, the Edinburgh Dungeon is situated in a listed building, and this does cause some restrictions for guests with mobility issues.
For safety reasons, only one guest using a wheelchair can be accommodated at a time to ensure an evacuation chair is available to exit the building.
Guests with accessible needs are entitled to a free carer ticket that can be reserved on-site by presenting one of the following items of documentation:
- Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children aged under 16 years or Personal Independent payments for those aged 16–64 years, either in the form of a letter stating that the benefit has been awarded or the actual Allowance book
- Attendance Allowance or Carers Allowance letter of award
