On this tour of the Lake District National Park you will travel in a comfortable Mercedes mini-van with a knowledgeable and friendly driver‑guide. The small vehicle size lets you leave the main roads and explore the traditional Lake District countryside in a more intimate, immersive way. Along the way you'll pass through historic towns and quaint villages of Cumbria, with commentary from your guide.
You will enjoy a lake cruise and then make stops at Hawkshead and Tarn Hows to explore at your own pace. Between April and October the experience also includes a relaxing ride on a heritage steam railway. Throughout the trip your guide will share local stories and highlights so you can appreciate the landscape, history and character of the area.
