From Killybegs harbour in County Donegal (voted the coolest place on the planet), you'll cruise out to the base of Europe’s highest accessible sea cliffs to view the dramatic Slieve League cliffs, which rise 1,972 feet (601 metres) from the water. Along the way you’ll pass several coastal landmarks, including Rotten Island and St John’s Point lighthouses, Drumanoo Head, Fintra Beach and Muckross Head. In the bay ahead of the cliffs you’ll see the Giant’s Desk and Chair, and while cruising close to the rock faces you’ll have a good chance to spot the caves and waterfalls that cascade down the cliffs.

On the return leg you’ll be able to see the table‑shaped mountain of Benbulbin in Sligo on the horizon and the towns that dot the coastline of Donegal Bay. Donegal Bay is one of the richest waters in the world, and there are regular sightings during the summer months of marine wildlife such as dolphins, porpoises, basking sharks and tuna.
