This hike guides you along a route of track and mixed terrain where you will explore changing ground underfoot. As you move through the landscape, the surface may shift between firm tracks and softer, muddier sections. Parts of the route can be wet, boggy and slippery in places, so you will encounter a variety of natural conditions.
You will need to bring a waterproof coat and waterproof trousers, plus walking boots and warm clothing. Take a hat and gloves, a packed lunch and around 2 litres of water, and a rucksack to carry everything. A face mask and hand sanitiser are also required. These items will help you stay comfortable and prepared for the variable terrain.
