The Secret Lagoon natural hot springs sit in the small village of Fludir, in Iceland’s Golden Circle. The site has been kept largely natural so you can enjoy an authentic Icelandic hot spring setting. As you soak, steam will rise from the surrounding landscape and the warm water—around 38–40 °C—will stay comfortable throughout the year, creating an atmospheric and relaxing scene.
Around the pool you will notice several geothermal spots and a small geysir nearby that erupts roughly every five minutes; you may see these bursts of steam and water while you relax in the lagoon. In winter, the Northern Lights can often be seen in the area, and you might catch them above the steaming water on a clear night, adding a memorable element to the experience.
