This tour will take you to Syracuse, where a local guide will give you insights into the history of the most ancient Greek colony in Sicily.
Departing from Taormina, you will reach Syracuse by an air-conditioned bus. After meeting your guide, you will visit the Archeological Park of Neapolis, including the Greek Theatre, the Roman Amphitheatre, the Altar of Hieron II and the Latomies of Paradise.
The next stop of this tour is the historical centre of Ortygia Island, where you will be able to see the Temple of Apollo, the Cathedral and the Fountain of Arethusa. You will also get the chance to spend some free time exploring the Grand Harbour and have lunch in one of the many local restaurants in the area.
