This guided boat excursion will take you to two islands in the Venice lagoon: Murano and Burano. Along the way, a guide will share the history and natural beauty of the area as you travel across the northern lagoon toward each stop.
On Murano you’ll visit an authentic glass furnace and watch a local glass artisan give a live demonstration. The craftsman will create a glass artwork in front of your eyes, giving you an up-close view of the glass-making art that made the island famous. Later, you’ll go on to Burano, known for its multicoloured houses and local pastries called bussolai. You’ll have one hour free to explore the picturesque streets, take photos and enjoy lunch at your leisure.
The return trip brings you back to Piazza San Marco, crossing what is described as the most charming part of the northern lagoon. Along the route you’ll see the lagoon’s characteristic scenery and get a final perspective on Venice from the water.
