On this tour, you will explore the popular destinations in western Sicily and learn about its ancient history. From the meeting point in Palermo, your driver and tour escort will take you on a scenic drive to Erice. Here, you'll have the chance to see Venus Castle, build on top of the ancient Temple of Venus. You can also explore the town's historic centre, where you can admire panoramic views of Trapani from a Medieval castle.
From Erice, you will drive through the salt pans of Trapani, and see the ancient tradition of harvesting salt from the sea. The next stop will be Segesta, a city founded by the Elymians, one of the indigenous peoples of Sicily. Here, you'll have the chance to see the renowned Doric temple on a hilltop built by an Athenian architect in 420 BC.

Please note that the official admission ticket to Segesta Archaeological Park costs EUR 16 per adult, EUR 9 per reduced-price ticket (for EU residents aged 18–25 years) and is free for participants aged below 18 years. The price difference is due to the additional services included in the offer.
Please note that the tour price does not include admission to other sites visited during the tour. Admission tickets will have to be purchased separately.
The admission charges are as follows:
-Templo de Segesta: EUR 6 per person and an additional EUR 1.50 for transportation to the theatre
- Erice cathedral: EUR 2 per person
