From San Cristóbal de las Casas, you’ll head to the dramatic Sumidero Canyon, where the tour includes stops at two viewpoints on the canyon rim. You’ll have a few minutes at each viewpoint to take photos and take in the surrounding cliffs and landscape. After seeing the canyon from above, the experience continues with a boat journey that moves into the heart of the canyon for a closer view of its rock walls and river.
Later, you’ll visit the charming magic town of Chiapa de Corzo and explore its history- and culture-rich streets on foot. Along the way, you’ll have time to walk around the town and absorb its atmosphere before returning to San Cristóbal de las Casas at the end of the day. Please note the viewpoints are closed on Tuesdays, so visits cannot be made on that day.
