This private Kathmandu day tour covers seven UNESCO World Heritage sites across the Kathmandu Valley. You will visit Changunarayan, Bhaktapur Darbar Square, Patan Darbar Square, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath and Kathmandu Durbar Square, travelling partly by car and partly on foot as you move between locations.
Along the way you will explore a bustling cityscape of Hindu temples, Buddhist stupas and monasteries. At each site you can take time to admire medieval arts and architecture for which Kathmandu is often called the “Open Museum of Medieval Arts and Architecture”. The experience blends short walks around historic squares and monuments with drives between the valley’s main cultural centres, giving you a broad sense of Kathmandu’s religious and artistic heritage.
