On this guided, small-group tour, you’ll get to visit Paracas, Ica and Huacachina in Peru, sample wine or Pisco and go sandboarding. After being picked up from your hotel in Lima, you’ll proceed to Paracas. On reaching El Chaco Paracas, you’ll board a boat to Ballestas Islands. Here, you’ll get two hours to view sea lions, Humboldt penguins and guano birds. You’ll also see the Paracas Candelabra, a prehistoric geoglyph on the northern face of Paracas Peninsula. Next, you’ll visit Ica. You can have lunch at your own expense at El Catador Bodega and Restaurant, before proceeding to a popular winery. At the winery, you’ll see how Pisco and Peruvian wine is made and get to taste them. Thereafter, you’ll stop at Oasis de la Huacachina, where you can take a buggy ride through the surrounding sand dunes or go sandboarding, before returning to Lima.
