On this full-day tour from Kraków, you’ll visit two sites in southern Poland. In the morning, you’ll go to the former concentration camp at Auschwitz-Birkenau and have a guided tour of the museum and camp site. You’ll also watch a documentary film about the history of the camp. Then, you’ll go to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, which has been producing salt for over 700 years. You’ll have a 2.5-hour guided tour to see the salt carvings and statues up to 140 metres underground.

Please note that admission tickets to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum are strictly personalized. Each participant must provide their full name exactly as it appears on their official ID/passport during the booking process. Any errors in names, or failure to provide this information at least 24 hours before the tour, may result in denied entry to the museum.
Pickups for this tour take place between 05:30 and 07:30. The tour provider will contact you via text message and email the day before the tour to confirm your exact pickup time. Please allow a 15-minute grace period for traffic.
Please note that the maximum size of bags and backpacks permitted on the museum grounds is 30 x 20 x 10 cm. You can leave your belongings inside the bus.
Tours do not run on 1 January, 25 December, Easter Sunday and March of the Living Day.
Please note that to reach the first level of the mine (64 metres underground), you will descend a wooden stairway with 378 steps. There are around 800 steps on the whole route. After the tour, you will be taken up to the surface by a lift.
