After that, you’ll head to Taormina, passing through the Isola Bella nature reserve. On this tour, you will travel from Taormina to visit the UNESCO-listed Mount Etna. At the base station, you can explore the foothills of the volcano on a three-hour self-guided hike. Alternatively, you can visit the volcano’s upper area on a guided trip. You will travel up by cable car, after which a jeep will take you to the upper crater at an altitude of about 3,000 metres.
