On our way back, we’ll make a relaxing stop at the picturesque Elos Village, where you can enjoy a delicious traditional Cretan lunch (optional) surrounded by nature and authentic local charm.

Get ready for an unforgettable journey through one of Europe’s longest and most breathtaking gorges! This is a full-day hiking adventure, ideal for nature lovers and active explorers. You’ll hike approximately 16 kilometers through dramatic landscapes, towering cliffs, ancient forests, and the famous narrow passage known as the “Iron Gates.” Along the way, you might spot the rare Cretan wild goat (Kri-Kri) and enjoy the rich, wild beauty of Crete's national park. The hike typically takes between 5 to 7 hours, depending on your pace, and ends at the peaceful seaside village of Agia Roumeli. Here, you’ll have free time to relax, enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear Libyan Sea, and have lunch at one of the charming seaside tavernas. After recharging by the sea, we board the ferry-boat to Sougia, cruising along Crete’s rugged southern coastline. At Sougia, our bus will be waiting to comfortably drive you back to Chania after a day full of adventure and natural beauty.

You can get there on foot from the beach by passing through shallow aquamarine and turquoise waters. The white and pink sand made of thousands of broken seashells, the limpid blue-green waters, the little coves and the secluded tiny beaches remind the travelers of a paradise lost. Visit a local bakery where we will have the chance to get a closer look at how Cretan traditional savories (rusks, bread, etc) are made. Visit an Olive grove where we will examine the olive trees and learn how Cretan honey is made. Visit a traditional multi-awarded cheese factory. If it is not the cheese-making period, we will be able to enter, otherwise, our guide will tell you everything about the cheese-making procedure before our superior tasting experience. Get ready for a superb gastronomical experience as you will have the chance to taste a traditional platted with olive oil, tomatoes, olives, cheese, honey, and more that are going to provide you with a first-class experience of the Cretan nature.

Get to know the wild beauty of this island on the back of a horse! We take a trip along old paths from antiquity. You drive through olive groves and have beautiful views over the island. The tour starts at the riding school where you first receive a brief explanation about riding and everyone gets their equipment. Then the group (always small groups) sets off. For the health of the horses, the rider's weight must be less than 90 kg, 198 pounds.

A short trip to the island of Lazaretta for relaxation and swimming. If you don't want to swim just sit back and enjoy the view while watching our fish feeding show through the boat's glass bottom. Stop duration for swimming approx: 35 min.

We visit two islands, Thodorou Nature Reserve and Lazaretta with its small sandy beach. On your first island visit to Thodorou you will have the opportunity to see the wild Kri-Kri, a type of Cretan goat (found in no other country in the world) which are protected from threat of extinction. Also at Thodorou, through the boat's glass bottom, you'll see the wreckage of a German airplane (Junker 52) shot down during World War II. We then sail on to Lazaretta island where you are free to swim or just relax on the beach. Note at Lazaretta island we use a small tender to transfer all bags, towels etc to the beach, along with any non-swimmers in your party. Stop duration for swimming: approx.: 2 hours What to bring: Swimwear, towels, plenty of sun protecton for the beach (there is shade on the boat), snacks or a picnic. What we offer: A free beer or soft drink.

With the help of your greek host you will have the chance to learn the production process of olive oil in our olive mill as well as the traditional way Cretans cultivate their olive trees for centuries. Visitors will also be able to taste the unique flavor and aroma of extra virgin olive oil and some traditional cretan delicacies. Vegetarians are welcome. You will also have the opportunity to buy extra virgin olive oil and other products made by locals. Pets and kids are welcome too
