This full-day experience is led by an English-speaking female guide, Ms Benja, who is described as good-tempered. Along the way you’ll enjoy close encounters with monkeys and river fish and walk among natural rock hills. A highlight is a hike up to Naga Cave, where you may see wide views from the top of the mountain.
You will travel into northern Thailand to view the Myanmar (Burma) border from the Thai side at Scorpion Temple, which also features a Sky Walk and nearby shopping at Sai Lom Joy. The tour includes a visit to Wat Tham Pla (Fish Cave), where you may take photos of the live monkeys and feed them fruit. Later you will go to the Golden Triangle to look out over the meeting point of three countries, take a boat along the Kong River and visit the Laos border area at Donsao market. Lunch will be a Thai meal at a riverside restaurant. Travel is with a safety-minded driver and insurance coverage provided under Thai law. The programme can be adjusted depending on your group and local conditions.
