You will travel by 4x4 Jeep into the Sierra s, following an old logging road that dates back to the 1800s. An experienced tour guide will drive you up to Devils Peak, now called Signal Peak, which rises to about 6,900 ft. From the summit you will watch the sunset over the surrounding mountains and take in the high‑country views.
Signal Peak has one of the few lookout towers in California that is still manned by a ranger. At the top you will have the opportunity to meet the ranger and explore the area while your guide sets up camp. After the sun goes down, you can relax by a campfire, roast marshmallows and enjoy the starry sky before the Jeep takes you back down the mountain.
