Under Sedona’s famous red-rock mesas, you will spend an evening watching the night sky with the aid of advanced, custom military night-vision goggles. The experience is both educational and entertaining: an expert will explain what you are seeing as you scan for anomalies. You may observe unidentified objects powering up, moving in unusual or seemingly random formations, and in some instances appearing to land on far-off mountains. Alongside these sightings, you will also see millions of stars and familiar constellations, with the occasional seasonal view of the Andromeda Galaxy.
The experience is designed to be suitable for a wide range of ages, though minimum traveller requirements are in place to operate the tour. Weather and lunar conditions affect visibility: cloud cover can prevent the tour from running and a reschedule may be necessary, and the tour is not operated near a full moon. Overall, you should expect an informative evening focused on observing and discussing what appears in Sedona’s night sky.
