An evening visit to Chena Hot Springs Resort, just 60 miles from Fairbanks, will take you through Alaska’s scenic interior, where you may spot moose, fox or beavers along the way. The night begins with a guided tour of the Aurora Ice Museum, where you'll see intricate ice sculptures and the famous ice bar. You may choose to have an Appletini served in a hand‑carved ice glass.
After the museum, you can relax with dinner or a drink in the cosy resort restaurant, which features fresh, locally sourced produce (meal not included). Later, soak in the outdoor mineral hot springs beneath the stars or wander the snowy grounds while you wait for a chance to see the Aurora Borealis.
