This is Cape Town’s most authentic wine-tasting experience in Stellenbosch’s Golden Triangle. You’ll ride a hop-on, hop-off wine tractor through vineyards and along back-roads to a mix of working wine farms, grand estates, boutique producers and historic homesteads. Along the way, friendly guides will share the area’s scenery and the history of Stellenbosch wine‑making, giving you a different perspective than a normal tour.
At each farm you’ll have relaxed, un-rushed time to sample the wines produced there or to grab a bite to eat. Most farms are child-friendly and offer kids’ areas and activities, so families can be comfortable. Cellar tours are not included in this tasting tour; they may be arranged directly with some farms at an extra cost. The experience is based close to Cape Town and the airport, making it easy to add to your visit.
