On this tour, you will get to visit two well-preserved fortified churches in the Transylvanian countryside, which were built by the Saxons as strongholds against the Ottoman Empire.
At the Prejmer fortified church, you'll be able to take in its Gothic architecture as your guide discusses the structure's history, its unique shape and the reason behind its five-metre-thick walls. You'll also stop at the Harman fortified church, which is known for its medieval bell tower and 13th-century paintings.
