In this hands-on ceramic handbuilding class, you'll explore the art of creating unique pieces from clay using various handbuilding techniques. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, you'll learn to shape, mold, and build sculptures, vessels, and functional objects using only your hands and basic tools. The following methods will be explored in this class - pinch pots, coil building, and slab construction. By the end of the class, you'll have a variety of handcrafted ceramics ready for firing, all while developing a deeper understanding of the tactile nature of clay and its endless possibilities for expression.
Class includes 3 hours of weekly instruction, access to clay tools and equipment and studio practice time during our regular open studio hours. Studio is open
Evenings - Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays 6-9 pm
Days - Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 11 - 5 pm

Clay is an additional cost and must be purchased by Art Space on the coast.
